In 1986 Woodstock Community Church began as a church plant by a group of young men and women who were a part of Great Commission Churches, a nondenominational association of churches. These men and women were part of an outreach team from a campus church based at Clemson University.
The church originally met in various locations throughout Roswell. In 1989, we purchased the old First Baptist Church of Woodstock building in downtown Woodstock. In 2009 the City of Woodstock approached us about purchasing our building. It was then that we were able to build our current facility on Rope Mill Road.
Throughout the years we have seen many individuals come to know and serve the Lord. God has led us and continues to lead us as we have sought to know God in a personal way and seek His will both corporately and as individuals. Woodstock Community Church is committed to seeing each member grow up into the full maturity of Christ and to share Christ's love with those who are in their lives and those who come into their lives.
